False. Lasik surgery doesn't always correct your vision to a perfect 20/20. Sometimes, you may need to wear a mild prescription in order to fine-tune your vision.
It's over in a day.
This isn't always true. 10% of patients need to come back for an enhancement.
There are no negative side-effects.
Recovery is amazingly fast. However, patients may discover that they see halos or have glare at night and may experience dryness in the eyes. These side effects will eventually diminish.
There are high complications to the procedure
False. Only about 1% of those that get lasik surgery end up having severe complications.
